SCHOOL NEWS: Teacher Appreciation,
Field Day, Grandparents Day, Box Tops, CRS Rice Bowl Collection, Nature's Place
and Book Fair

Teacher Appreciation - Teacher Appreciation week will be here before you know it! It's
going to be a busy week!! So I am starting early asking for help with covering
the classes so that the teachers can enjoy a delicious homemade lunch without
any interruptions from our wonderful children!! We have lots of fun activities
that I will be sharing with you all (In Secret of course) Please take a moment
and sign up for one of our teachers!!

Field Day - Mark your calendars Field
Day is May 1st !!! Pre K thru 8th grade will be participating
this year! Activities will begin at 9:00 and lunch will be served around
12:00. If you did not preorder lunch for your student you will need to
send in a lunch for them.

Grandparents Day - Grandparents Day will be Friday,
May 10, and is a half day for students. If you would like to
help with providing brunch food for our guests, setting up on Thursday,
May 9, serving or cleaning up, please sign up at https://signup.com/client/invitation2/secure/1853422/false#/invitation Lots of PIP
hours available!

Box Tops - We will be having our last Box Top collection on Friday, May 17th. Start sending in those Box Tops.

CRS Rice Bowl - A
big thank you to all who participated in the Lenten Catholic relief services
rice bowl almsgiving project. Our Parish and school collected over $800 to help
those in need. Your lenten gifts change lives. May God bless you for your generosity and sacrifice.

Nature's Place - Workday in Nature's Place: After a rain-out on our last workday in
Nature's Place, we have rescheduled for Saturday, May 4, beginning at 9
AM. Work will include weeding, mulching, and pruning. We also need to
remove the gravel from the areas around the raised beds, clean/remove the
soil down to the weed barrier (replace weed barrier as needed) and reinstall
the gravel to a 3”-4” depth to prevent new weed growth. If you can help
out, please sign up at https://signup.com/go/mg8viH. Please bring work
gloves and any helpful tools you may have, such as a shovel, wheelbarrow,
pruning shears or garden rake. If you are planning to bring your children, please contact cwest@myolph.com to let us know.
