Red Mass is a historical tradition within the Catholic Church dating back to the thirteenth century.  Our purpose for the celebration of this mass is praying for the gifts of the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts, hallways, and classrooms throughout the school year.  Each student from Pre-K to 8th grade is asked to wear an appropriate red top with their Friday uniform bottoms and shoes.  The faculty and staff will participate; you may also join us in mass with a red top. The color red is used to signify action, fire, charity, spiritual awakening in the Christian symbolism; it denotes the Holy Spirit.
