Orders, PDA AD, School Advisory Board, Catholic Charities 2016 Annual Dinner,

1. OLPH
Yearbooks: Yearbooks
are now on sale. Forms are being sent
home with students and are available in the School Office. Order deadline is May 6, 2016. Prices vary and checks should be made out to
Lifetouch.
2. Personal Display of Affection: Support our school
and recognize your student, post a Personal Display of Affection ad in the OLPH
yearbook. Forms will be going home with
students and are available in the School Office. PDA submission must be received by April 29,
2016. If you have any questions, please
contact Carlene Evans at 622-1481 or email, bigorange@myolph.com. Thank you for
supporting the yearbook.

OLPH School Advisory
Board
is accepting applications for 2016-2017 Board openings. The School
Advisory Board meets on a monthly basis (typically a Wednesday night at 6pm)
and serves as an advisory board to the Pastor and Principal of OLPH
School. The Advisory Board is an ideal way for parents to become more
involved in the school and fulfills PIP hour requirements. Membership is
open to parents of OLPH students, alumni of OLPH School, parents of alumni, and
members of OLPH parish. Please prayerfully consider serving in this very
important school ministry. Applications are available in the school
office and due no later than Tuesday, April 12th. Questions – please contact Robert Jones @ jonesr@myndhs.com.

Catholic Charities 34th
Annual Dinner
is scheduled for Thursday, April 21, 2016.
The 2016 dinner will be held at The Chattanoogan Hotel and includes a
cocktail reception followed by dinner.
This event is the largest annual fundraiser for all Catholic Charities
programs in the greater Chattanooga area.
It brings together more than 300 people for an evening of fun and
fellowship.

exciting possibilities that are available for your students this summer! Half-Day morning camps are available for
students entering grades K-8 OLPH Summer Camp flyers are available at
school.myolph.com or in the back of Church.

way to financially support our school at no additional cost? If you shop Food City, you

school Scrip program gives 5% back to the OLPH Annual Fund.

Family Honor Program was a great success
this year and thanks to all those who attended.
A special thanks to the Family Honor Team: Cathy Oliver, Mary Pat
Haywood, Blane Haywood and Marian Christiana for their help in making this day
such a success. We had a wonderful day
with all the young people and adults that attended.
8.
Operation Rice Bowl
from the 8th Grade Class counted and collected $1,065.86 dollars, our
goal is $1500.00. We still have some
change to count so if you have not yet turned in your Rice Bowl donation please
do so as soon as possible. Thank you to
all who participated.
9.
Spring Fling Please join us as we celebrate Spring and
the END of Testing on April 22nd from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.! Enjoy some social time together with our
school community. Home and School
will provide hamburgers, hotdogs and paper goods. You bring the lawn chairs, lawn games,
and a food item to share. See the link to volunteer spot on what to bring. You
can also work on those last minute PIP hours (sign-up to help with
set-up/serving/clean-up). Please sign up to bring food and/or volunteer to help
with OLPH Spring Fling!

10. Diocesan Adult Confirmation Mass Bishop Stika will celebrate a
Diocesan-Wide Confirmation Mass on Sunday May 1, 2016 at 4:00 pm at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart
of Jesus. Any adult (18 and over) who has had the sacraments of Baptism, First
Communion, and Reconciliation, but has not been confirmed, can receive the
sacrament on this date. Interested candidates should call their parish
office for more information. Forms and information can also be found at http://dioknox.org/offices- ministries/christian- formation/adult-confirmation- 2/. The The
application deadline has been extended. Rosters and baptismal certificates are

Notre Dame High School has partnered
with the Atlanta Falcons for a FREE "Moms" football safety
clinic on Wednesday
April 20th beginning at 6pm.
Former Atlanta Falcons football players will cover topics related to youth
safety, concussions, and proper football techniques. This is a fun
night out for moms with dinner being provided. For more information and

The Catholic Football Skills Clinic and Camp is set for June 6 - 10, 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. The camp is for rising 2nd through
8th graders. Please mark your
calendars.

The Catholic Football Awards Dinner is set for Tuesday, April 12th, 6:30 P.M. at Brainerd
BX, (4011 Austin Street, Chattanooga, TN 37411). Dress for players is coat and tie.
