4.      Kiss the Pig Contest - Starting this Tuesday, we will be having a Kiss the Pig contest. Several of our wonderful teachers (and even our awesome principal!) have agreed to participate. Here is how this will work:
1.    Participating teachers will have a bucket in their classroom
2.    Kids can bring in their spare change or dollars to put in a teachers bucket. They can choose any participating teacher they want, doesn’t have to be their homeroom teacher!
3.    The 8th grade will count the money often and let you know who is in the lead! This contest will run through Friday, September 23rd.
4.    The winning teacher will be announced on September 23rd at the end of the day.
5.    The winning teacher will be kissing a live pig at halftime of the Choo Choo Bowl on Saturday, September 24th! Go Rams!
5.      AdvancEd Survey - As the diocese prepares for district accreditation with AdvancED (SACS - Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) and maintains a strong commitment to improve system practices, the Catholic Diocese of Knoxville would like your input. This information will be analyzed and used to complete an internal self-study for the AdvancED Quality Assurance Review visit in February 2017. We value your opinion and ask that you take the time to complete the survey: Catholic Identity - Defining Characteristics. If you have a student or connection to more than one school, please submit a survey for each school. Each school's survey results will be disaggregated separately before assimilated into the data from all the schools within the Diocese. In order to complete the survey by September 23, 2016, please go to: http://www.advanc-ed.org/survey/public/0805250.
