SCHOOL NEWS: PreSchool and Kindergarten Open House, Paddy
and Pints, Girl Scouts and Rice Bowls

Preschool and Kindergarten Open House - OLPH School will be having a PreSchool and
Kindergarten Open House on March 7, 2019 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. We want to invite prospective families that
will have children of school age. The
child must be 3, 4, or 5 before August 15, 2019, to register for 2019/2020
school year. If you know a family that
is interested in finding a great program, please invite them to attend. We have a really good referral program and if
the family does enroll, you will receive a $100.00 off of your 2019/2020
registration fee. If you have any

Paddy and Pints - Have you purchased your tickets for Paddy &
Pints,
coming up on March 9? It's going to be a great evening you will not
want to miss. Single tickets are now $50. Just send in
a check or cash to the school office and tickets can be sent home with your
student. If you would like to get some of your class families or friends
together, you can show your support of our school and go in together on a
reserved table of 8 beginning at $650. Find all the links to tickets, tables,

The Auction is now open! As of
noon Friday, March 1, you will be able to start placing your bids on your
favorite items in the Paddy & Pints auction. Go to the appropriate site
below and create an account. Credit card info will be needed before you can
place your first bid. Check out all the class baskets, class art projects, teacher
experiences for your student, and so much more. There are many great items
ranging from small gift cards to a $2,000 car racing experience. There's
something for everyone, so get the bidding started today! Bidding will close
during the Paddy & Pins event on March 9 at 9:30 pm.

Girl Scouts - The
Power of Cookies: OLPH Girl Scouts support Ghana Water Project. OLPH Troop 40202
recently donated $2000 to build a Water Well at St. John Vianney middle school
in Wurapong, Ghana. We are proud of this group of girls who voted to use their
proceeds from cookie sales to help others.

Rice Bowls - Wednesday March, 6 is Ash Wednesday the beginning of lent.
During Lent our parish and school community will participate in Catholic Relief
Services. Rice Bowl program. Each child will bring home a rice bowl on
Wednesday with more information.
