SCHOOL NEWS: Rice Bowls, Teacher
Appreciation, Field Day, Nature's Place Work Day and Grandparents Day
·
Rice Bowls - During Lent our community will participate in CRS Rice Bowl, a faith
in action program that invites us to encounter the needs of the world with the
hope of the Resurrection. Bowls will be collected at the end of Lent. Please
turn in you Rice Bowl collection by next Wednesday 4/17. Please do not turn in
change or the original box. If possible count the money and make a check out to
OLPH and write 'CRS rice bowl" on memo line. Thank you for your Lenten almsgiving.

Teacher Appreciation - Teacher Appreciation week will be here before you know it! It's
going to be a busy week!! So I am starting early asking for help with covering
the classes so that the teachers can enjoy a delicious homemade lunch without
any interruptions from our wonderful children!! We have lots of fun activities
that I will be sharing with you all (In Secret of course) Please take a moment
and sign up for one of our teachers!!

Field Day - Mark your calendars Field
Day is May 1st !!! Pre K thru 8th grade will be participating
this year! Activities will begin at 9:00 and lunch will be served around
12:00. Order forms for Hamburger and Hot dog lunch and Kona Ice treats
are going home in Friday folders. Please pre order and pay ASAP so your
child will have a full belly after the fun and games settle down.

Nature's Place Work Day - We will be having a work day in Nature's Place Outdoor Classroom on
Good Friday, April 19, beginning at 9 am. Bring tools (rakes,
shovels, wheel barrel, etc.), if you have them and gloves if you use them.

Grandparents Day - Grandparents Day will be Friday,
May 10, and is a half day for students. If you would like to
help with providing brunch food for our guests, setting up on Thursday,
