SCHOOL NEWS - Girl Scouts, Praying Parents, Tuition Support, MAINTENANCE POSITION AND VIRTUS TRAINING

Girl Scouts - OLPH Girl Scout Troop Ice Cream Social and information meeting - Thursday, Aug. 22nd 6-7pm in the OLPH school cafeteria.  Current scouts and any interested girls (Kindergarten – 8^th grade) and their families are encouraged to join us!   We will have an overview of the troop year, the Troop Handbook, and will do our best to answer any questions you may have about Girl Scouts, your scout level, and what OLPH Girl Scouts is all about!  If you have any questions, please contact us at olphgirlscouttroop@gmail.com.

Praying Parents - Draw closer to God through prayer and fellowship when you join Praying Parents.  Meet on Tuesday beginning August 20^th at 9:30 A.M. in the Parish Library.  If you are interested, please contact Lori Voges, lvoges@myolph.com.

MAINTENANCE POSITION - OLPH CATHOLIC PARISH AND SCHOOL IS LOOKING FOR A FULL-TIME MAINTENANCE WORKER.  THIS EMPLOYEE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING THE FACILITIES AND GROUNDS OF THE CHURCH AND SCHOOL.  TASKS COULD INCLUDE, PLUMBING WORK, PAINTING, LANDSCAPING, ELECTRICAL REPAIRS AND HVAC MAINTENANCE.  FOR MORE INFORMATION, INCLUDING A JOB DESCRIPTION CONTACT ROBERT JONES AT (423) 622-7232.

Virtus Training - In order to fulfill your required parent volunteer hours by helping in the classroom, chaperoning a field trip, or working in any other capacity with or in the presence of students, the Diocese of Knoxville requires that you be Virtus trained.
